CARL L. BROWN:
Attorney Carl L. Brown has 40 years of experience in civil litigation.
He was an attorney with a statewide insurance defense law firm for 17 years, serving as:
- associate attorney
- managing partner
- board member
- chairman of the board of directors
Thereafter, Mr. Brown was a founding partner in a California insurance defense firm, serving as the senior partner for 8 years. He left the partnership to concentrate on representing injured persons exclusively, which he has been doing for the past 10 years.
Mr. Brown was born in the San Francisco bay area and raised in Fresno. He served in the United States Marine Corps in the Far East and Southeast Asia and attended college and law school on the GI bill.
Prior to his admission to the California State Bar Association in 1977, Mr. Brown was employed by a major insurance company as an insurance underwriter and was self-employed as a licensed private investigator while attending law school.
Before making the decision to represent persons who have been injured as the result of another’s negligence, he represented:
